At INFORM, we believe in the power of ideas, stories, and connections to transform lives and communities. As the Institute for Media, Research & Inclusion, we’re on a mission to build a future where free and independent media, accountable governance, and informed citizens drive peace, justice, and sustainable development across Sudan and the region.
We’re more than just an organization—we’re a movement. Born from the legacy of the Sudan Center for Research, Training, and Development Studies (SCRTDS), INFORM stands at the crossroads of governance, media development, civil society empowerment, and research. Our work is rooted in amplifying marginalized voices, especially those of women and youth, and ensuring that truth, accountability, and inclusion are at the heart of every story told and every decision made.
Our Approach

Championing Independent Media
We train journalists to uncover the truth and hold power to account. From investigative journalism on war crimes to world-class storytelling on Sudan’s culture and aspirations, we help creators shape authentic narratives that resonate globally.

Building Resilient Communities
We work side by side with civil society organizations to empower marginalized groups, especially women and youth, to advocate for peace, justice, and equality. Our programs promote storytelling, reconciliation, and the rebuilding of cohesive societies.

Promoting Digital Innovation
The future is digital. We’re leveraging the power of new media to create platforms where diverse voices can thrive. By teaching digital literacy and fighting disinformation, we’re empowering communities to shape a more inclusive and informed world.
